UH Lambdas

On February 25th, 1981 the founding of Lambda Phi Epsilon left an everlasting impact on the Greek community.

At the University of California Los Angeles, Mr. Craig Ishigo along with eighteen other young, dedicated leaders created a fraternity that would promote academics, brotherhood, philanthropy, and socialization. Mr. Ishigo wanted to create an organization that would help Asian Americans find a sense of belonging while simultaneously helping his fellow brothers fulfill their utmost potential. Lambda Phi Epsilon eventually became the largest–and only–international Asian-interest fraternity in the United States, with over fifty chapters nationwide and a brotherhood network of over 10,000 brothers strong.
